What makes a freight broker good at his job is the fact that he/she takes care of the loads they took. They have to be aware of the responsibilities they are taking while taking a load, respect both - brokers/customer and drivers time, be available to resolve issues that can happen, and let both sides know you are there - willing to do your best in order for everything to work out fine in the end.

When I received a call to apply for this job I thought, "why not", but little did I know it would be the biggest change in my life. I have had the opportunity to be a pioneer in a new business. What skills do brokers need to have, and what do they need to do to gain drivers trust?

Do you have any advice for our new brokers?
"The best advice I got - show them that thing that makes you different than everybody else. And again, communication is the biggest factor. One needs to communicate with both sides all the time and make sure everything goes as planned. Wow .. didn't think I'd come this far ..
Having been with this company for about a year, I really don't have the vocabulary to describe this wonderful and joyful past experience. I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity to start working with this company, and most of all, to have met some of the most beautiful and most dedicated people in this industry. I, as an employee, have a lot of freedom to do things my way, lots of chances, lots of valuable contacts that you acquire as you go along, and the sheer benefits you gain as an broker here are simply too immense.
